Sunday School for children is offered for preschool to 6th grade (with nursery provided for infants & toddlers) from September through April at 9:00 a.m., South Campus. We have dedicated teachers for each age group who have a desire to help children understand the Bible and to apply it to their life. We believe that God’s Word has the power to change hearts, thus changing attitudes and actions. Our teachers will do their very best to help your child learn more about Christ and His love for them. We want to build into your child’s life an understanding of their need for Christ as Savior. Our desire is that your child will grow to know Him more and love Him more, and as a result, will want to serve Him the rest of their lives. We commit ourselves to teaching the Word of God in a safe, loving environment.

Infant & Toddler Nursery is available for infants and children 0-3 years old during our Sunday School hour (9:00 a.m.) and also our time of worship (10:00 a.m.). Our nursery is a place where your child will explore, play and grow in a bright, positive atmosphere. We will do our very best to care for your child in a safe, loving environment. Children at this young age need lots of physical care. We will attend to those needs lovingly, as you, the parent, attend Sunday School and/or worship.

AWANA is Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:30 p.m. for children 4 years old to 6th grade. Our Awana year is from September to the end of April at our South Campus building, 625 Golf Avenue SW, Pine City.   A little bit about Awana…

Awana is an international Bible-centered children’s ministry that brings churches and parents together to raise kids to know, love, and serve Christ for life.  Each club meeting includes a time for a Bible lesson, scripture memory and games, along with fun monthly themes to encourage team spirit and participation of clubbers. Awana is September through the end of April and is divided into the following clubs: Cubbies, 4-5 years olds, have fun a purpose in mind….to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ! Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. Sparks, K – 2nd grade, is firmly grounded in Scripture. Children in Sparks will learn the basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation and the Bible. There is a clear and consistent presentation of the gospel message and there is an increased emphasis on Scripture memory. In three years, a child will learn and review over 65 verses, many of which cover salvation and key Christian doctrine, helping to establish a foundation of biblical wisdom. Truth & Training, 3rd-6th grade, is a name that  reflects the passion of Awana to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow — today. This is a  Bible-centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith, hide God’s Word in their heart and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives.
