We emphasize three things at Pine City EFC.

Jesus – In John 12:32, Jesus Himself said, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” We desire to know Jesus, love Jesus, follow Jesus, and preach Jesus.  He is the reason we exist!

The Bible – “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35) The Bible is God’s unchanging Word, which can transform our hearts and minds, resulting in a Christ-like life before this world. Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on God’s Word through expositional teaching of the Bible.

Loving People – Jesus taught “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35) We take seriously loving others, praying for the needs of others, and meeting the needs of others in practical ways.

We strive to have a “blended” style of worship. This means that we recognize the value of good contemporary Christian music as well as the importance of the great hymns of the faith. We have a four praise teams who take turns leading worship each week, which include a variety of musical styles.

Families are welcome to have their small children with them during the service. We believe children learn a lot about their parents’ faith by watching them engage in worship as well as listening to Scripture being taught.
