Student Ministries

What is Frontline all about?

Frontline is a youth group for all students in 7th -12th grades. Our desire is that every student that comes through our doors is confronted with the love of Jesus Christ. Weekly, Biblical messages are preached to students to encourage, equip, and educate them in God’s Word. Frontline is about creating disciples who will proclaim the name of the Savior on the “Frontlines” of our community. It is a place of truth, purpose, and security. We want students to come just as they are, genuine and real; but also, to be teachable and willing to apply the truth they hear in their lives.

Wednesday Nights:
Frontline meets every Wednesday night in the Youth Worship Center. Our church basement was transformed into a place meant just for teenagers. With stadium style luxury seating, discipleship rooms with 7 ft. bean bags, pool tables/carpet ball tables/ping pong tables, fully stocked concessions, basketball hoops, a gaga ball pit, sand volleyball, and ice rinks right across the street for broomball, this place was made for teenagers! 7th – 9th grades meet from 6:00-7:45 and 10th -12th grades meet from 7-8:45.

Wednesday Night Breakdown:

7th -9th grades arrive at 6pm and have 30 minutes of fun and fellowship time. From 6:30-7 they are in age based small groups with adult leaders. At 7pm, 7th – 9th grade students join 10th – 12th grade students in the Frontline Worship Center for a time of praise and worship, as well as a message from God’s Word. 7th – 9th grade students are welcome to come as early as 5pm to hang out at the youth center before our organized programming begins. 10th – 12th grade students are welcome to come at 7pm. After beginning with praise and worship and a message from God’s Word, they break into age based small groups from 7:45-8:15. After small groups get out, 8:15-8:45 is a time of fun and fellowship Sr. High students with their leaders and peers. They are welcome to stay as late as 9:30.

Winter Retreat

Each year we attend Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, Wisconsin for our winter retreat. With downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, broomball, snowshoeing, ice skating, game room, and coffee shop there is no shortage of things to do. In fact, all equipment rentals are included in the price of the weekend. Make sure to ask for a flyer about winter retreat and check out Camp Forest Springs @ www.forestsprings.us.

Missions Trips

Each summer Frontline takes a mission trip. We have partnered with SLAM (Students Living A Mission) out of Nashville, Tennesse to introduce our students to the importance of missions work in the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. Every third year we take an international mission trip that we spend an entire year preparing and training for in advance of our serving. All mission trips are on an application basis. Feel free to find out more information about SLAM @ www.slamweb.org

Student Leadership

Students 9th grade and older our welcome to apply for our student leadership team. Student leadership are the kids who make up the heart of our youth group. We meet once per month to pray for our youth group, plan events, study the Bible, and just enjoy the company of one another. Student leaders are held to a high standard of accountability and it’s safe to say they wouldn’t want it any other way.
